Biography:
I live in Columbus, OH, USA. 41 years old.
I first fell in love with Olivia when I heard Let Me Be There and have been a fan ever since. I have seen her in concert 6 times and was lucky enough to actually meet her! A local radio station had a contest and picked 10 winners. My brother won and of course he HAD to take me. It was when she was promoting her Back To Basics album. All the winners got to have lunch with her and chat and get autographs. When our turn came, we asked if we could have a picture taken with the 3 of us and she agreed. I will always treasure that day!!

I've been mixing for about 3 years now. I got started when I downloaded some ABBA mixes that DJANDRE did and I asked him how he got started. He told me that there weren't many ABBA mixes so he decided to do his own. I thought the same about Olivia, so I started to do my own. I also got some of my inspiration from a friend of mine, Valsparaiso, who has done some wonderful Olivia mixes.

One of my favorites is a "duet" mix I did of Olivia and Obsession singing The Rumour. I mixed the 2 versions together and I think it turned out pretty well. Another of my favorites is Landslide.

One thing I have yet to master is "remixing", meaning I would like to take a slow song and add a faster beat. Mostly what I have down is to "extend" her songs.

The software I use is called Magix Music Maker 5. I bought it about 3 years ago and still have not learned how to use all of it yet.

Some of the other artists I have mixed are: ABBA, Madonna, Laura Branigan, Stevie Nicks, Celine Dion, and a few others. On my first mixes I went by the name of: Ritt1, that was the name I used on Napster. I then switched to Bucabeach, in honor of my cat, Buca, and a very good friend of mine.
